The Comicbook DispatchTo someone who's already read Wild Cards, this is simply a retelling of events in a different medium. But to fans brand new to the novels, this very well could be piquing your interests in the series itself.
Major SpoilersWild Cards: Drawing of Cards #2 didn’t engage me as much as the premiere issue did. I really enjoy the premise, and the story has a lot of promise, but that promise has not been fulfilled. With that in mind, this comic is a 3 out of 5 stars.
ComicBook.comThe only positive thing I have to say about this comic is that it's more coherent than the first issue. While the comic still struggles with converting its source material into a compelling 20-page comic, it at least has an understandable narrative that can be followed and some decent visuals to accompany it. This is still a weird comic, but it's better than the disaster of a first chapter.
