    Get Your Comic On

Another 5⭐️ book from the Spawn multiverse, a story arc that gets better with each issue and definitely is one of the best arcs out there at the moment.

    Comics: The Gathering

The Scorched #9 is primarily used to offer back matter but is done so in a way that offers just as much energy and excitement readers have come to know from this series and is brought to life by a dynamic art team that consistently delivers one of the best-looking worlds, we have seen in any Spawn series past or present. This is one you want to be sure to pick up and dive not ASAP!

Every time I think one of these Spawn comics is about to totally lose me there’s always one idea that makes it seem worth it. Much of The Scorched #9, still written by Sean Lewis and featuring art by Stephen Segovia, reads like nonsense, an expansion on a character that does little to make itself anymore interesting despite everything continuing to look really cool (the baseline for anything with Todd’s name on it). A final twist offers a sliver of redemption for this title but it continues to be a chore to read at times.
