In our time-twisting final issue, Mystery Inc. meets Batman Beyond! Can the retired Batman and his protegé, Terry McGinnis, send our crime-stoppers back from the future? Maybe, but first they’ll have to save Neo-Gotham from the Royal Flush Gang and solve a particularly challenging mystery. (And not just the one about safely parking the Mystery Machine with its very expired plates!)

Dark Knight News
The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #2.12 works fantastically well as both a standalone issue and the possible finale of a fun series. We’ve seen the Mystery Gang and The Dark Knight(s) face off against the most notorious foes from Gotham to the least-known villains from back in Crystal Cove (or Coolsville, depending on your persuasion). Our favorite crime solvers have figured out all kinds of mysteries using a vast variety of technology, wits, and even teammates from the past. - 85
Geek Dad
There are some really clever twists to this story, although kind of an abrupt wrap-up and a great last-page reveal. Very much hoping this comes back for a third season. - 80
The Comicbook Dispatch
In what serves as the conclusion to this two-volume series, The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #12 presents a fun, dare we say schway, finale which captures the heart behind the Batman and Scooby-Doo crossovers and the love letter it is to both Batman and Scooby fans alike. It shows why Batman and Scooby-Doo worked so well together. Although it has been stated there won’t be any future volumes, it leaves the door open for more potential crossovers. - 80
Batman-News
This has been one of the more interesting series I’ve reviewed. That’s partially because the quality has varied so much. We’ve been all the way from a score of 9 to a 1.5 throughout this series! That’s not something I experience very often and it has made it a fun journey. Thankfully, we’re finishing out the series with one of the stronger issues, which makes it all the more gratifying. This series may make a return for a third year but if it doesn’t, this is as enjoyable a conclusion as I could hope for. Recommended! - 70
Razorfine
There are clues for what is really going on, as eventually Velma deduces they are all trapped in a simulation, but the explanation leaves a little be be desired given the accuracy of the Batman Beyond world. Obviously the creators had a fun adventure in mind, just not a great way to make it happen. Still, for fans of both Scooby-Doo! and Batman Beyond, the unexpected team-up is a fun way to wrap-up another team-up series.
