This is an okay ending to the Strange Academy crossover even thought Spidey himself barely makes an appearance and Carlos Hernandez’s script goes overboard on the dialogue (It’s almost as if he tried to cram as much into his script as possible in order to conclude the crossover); Overall it does deliver on the magical aspects that makes Strange Academy such a stand out series but hopefully next time Marvel decides to have a Strange Academy crossover with some notable characters thrown in for good measure, let’s see if any of them will put in a full appearance instead of the numerous cameos.

If Strange Academy is your game, and math is or isn’t your friend, this is a fun conclusion to a fun and wild adventure with the Strange Academy kids.

A solid hook contends with an execution that leaves a bit to be desired, as ‘Strange Academy: Amazing Spider-Man’ wraps up the kid’s first big Marvel Universe team-up story. Fun and engaging visuals aren’t enough to prop up a story that feels like a classroom lecture at times.

A cute final chapter in this Strange Academy crossover delivers on its magical premise with unique panels and fun moments from artist Vasco Georgiev, with colors by Edgar Delgado that make each panel pop. Framing this as a Spider-Man crossover is incredibly disingenuous though as his appearance has little material importance, and he shows up in fewer pages than Moon Knight in the previous one. All in all it’s a fine read, even if it gets a bit wordy with its overly complicated plot.
