Starsigns continues to be an endearing, action-packed adventure, with a high-concept idea that is still proving to have tons of potential. The two rogue groups of zodiac superheroes close in on each other, in a conflict that illuminates some interesting character moments, and well-executed visuals from Megan Levens. As a whole, Starsigns continues to have a lot of promise.

    The Super Powered Fancast

The Story: Ahmed continues to craft a thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. The characters, like the reader, get a temporary reprieve from the chase and the story does a great job of using that time to make me care more about these people and what they are going through as well as the threats breathing down their collective necks. There’s some great action in the issue and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Levens delivers some beautifully detailed and impressive art throughout the issue. The visuals have a great tone that conveys the thrills and emotions of the story.

    Major Spoilers

Starsigns #5 keeps the action moving quickly enough that the main characters barely have time to think or plan as their normal lives slip inexorably into a running battle with a foe they do not entirely understand.
