Merlin has arrived from the future and made himself at home in 5th century Britain. Meanwhile, in the present our pagan-loving protagonist, Amber, gets an unexpected visit from her American boyfriend in Brighton. 'StarHenge' #2 mixes fiction with legends and adds a sprinkle of classic 'Metal Hurlant' cosmic art on tope of a good dose of brooding Dark Ages in this beautifully illustrated comic book.

    Comic Watch

Issue #2 is a excellent follow installment up that moves steadily down its narrative seamlessly combining documented historical fact, fable, excellent character writing, relatable narration and wonderfully detailed jaw dropping art for a flawless issue that you just can't put down.

    The Comicbook Dispatch

STARHENGE BOOK ONE #2 is a comic that really wants you to roll up your sleeves and fully engage with it. In that way, it feels like its building a grand epic rather than just telling a long story. And the world always benefits from new grand epics.

I have just one criticism of Starhenge, Book One: The Dragon & The Boar #2 and it's that I have to wait and read this issue by issue rather than having the full volume in my hands to lose myself in all at once.

    Major Spoilers

I think Stonehenge #2 will read best as a trade paperback. There is so much going on, and it feels complex and engaging. Non-conventional stories like these are right up my alley.
