Things still look bleak for Lady Qi’ra, even armed with her secret fleet she has assembled for this very moment. Even while looking into the face of evil, she seems confident. Will she be able to protect her people like she says she can?

SWNN - Star Wars News Net

Overall, the direction of Hidden Empire has been more focused than it was in Crimson Reign. Things are heating up, and as the conclusion draws near, you feel that with each page. All of these comic arcs have tied together, and the final payoff promises to be massive.

Much like the first issue, this installment is relatively engaging throughout, but feels more like it’s dumping exposition as a prologue to get audiences ready for something that could potentially be fulfilling as opposed to being fulfilling on its own.

It’s at least better than the previous storyline but still not as hype as War of the Bounty Hunters. Will give it some more time.
