    But Why Tho?

Nightwing #93 brings multiple stories out to play and makes it looks easy. One rolls into the next and, considering all that Dick has to handle, he never looks too worn out. But the tension grows just enough here and every month to let you know the implosion is right down the road. This issue really brings the actions, the laughs, and is smart enough to offer peeks into certain things to make you come back for more. No info dump and no monologuing. Just perfect storytelling that juggles a large cast with ease.

Taylor and Redondo get better and better with each issue. Do we need more Haley? Sure (ahem… more cowbell please!) Redondo draws hairstyles like we all wish we could style our hair, but it’s more than that.t This is a great book to settle in and be inspired by Dick Grayson and all of his positivity!

    Lyles Movie Files

If you want a dramatic, depressingly bleak comic, Nightwing will never be for you. If you’re looking for a comic that’s overflowing with feel-good moments, there’s no need to look any further. Nightwing continues to be your best and most enjoyable bet.

    Dark Knight News

This issue, heck this series, has everything. Villains that chill, a supporting cast that readers can love like family, red hot action, romance, and the kind of entertainment that only comic books can provide. In this chapter alone we get a magical moment between Dick and Barbara, bucket-loads of martial arts, and a villain whose hearts are in the right place. (Sorry)

Could somebody please expand my thesaurus? Soon there will be no more words left to describe how incredible this series is!

    Geek Dad

The cat-and-mouse game for control of Bludhaven continues to escalate, as Tom Taylor continues to prove with this and his other ongoing that you can absolutely write a socially conscious book that is a compelling read where the politics flow smoothly with the story. When we last left off, the villain Heartless decided to make his move on Bludhaven’s kingpin—Blockbuster. He fearlessly makes his way into Desmond’s office, and proposes an alliance that will make him the top dog of Bludhaven—and the older villain reacts accordingly. What plays out is a brutal fight that ends when the more powerful, more intelligent new villain simply underestimates the sheer brutality and pettiness of the old guard. And in the process, we learn a few interesting details about Heartless. What’s interesting is that neither villain really intersects with Dick Grayson at all this issue—he’s got his own problems.
