Once again, I’m blown away by Marvel’s Voices, this time in its Legends format. Each comic story offers something fun, thought-provoking, or downright riveting. The bonus materials only sweeten the deal in a buy-on-sight series.

    Nerd Initiative

Overall, this first issue is wonderful. So many diverse stories, on black comic characters that are important to talk about. I love the vibrant colors, and also the guidance of each story.

They all are very unique in their own way, and it becomes apparent that this is just the beginning of stories being told within the Marvel Voices Universe.

Story 2: Do You Remember When? – A fun and funny short story that does a great job of showcasing the dynamic between these characters for fans of them and new readers alike.

Story 3: Deathlok the Demolished – A dark, entertaining and tragic short that showcases the complexity of the character of Deathlok and has some great suspense and conflict throughout.

Story 4: The World is Not Ready – A great short story with a fun visual style that teases some great stories for T’Challa and Storm while giving fans of their relationship something to enjoy.
