The service android Which-Where has purchased a soul, saving Jessie Marks.
But, there is a cost: she must return beings who escaped from Hell to their masters… vampires, werewolves, demons. Now she hunts Low-Town for monsters, unaware that she’s also hunted… by the vampire-witch, Sister Invictus!
Comic WatchWith issue #2, Hexware remains a book with a lot of soul. It continues to take the magic of yesteryear and mix it with the techno-punk of tomorrow.
ComicBook.comHexware steps out with its second issue this week, and its cyberpunk world takes some dark turns that readers won't see coming. With a pinch of magic and some supernatural twists, Hexware puts our favorite witch on a hot trail that ends with someone's death. And of course, the issue's tech-centric art looks as gorgeous as ever here thanks to artist Zulema Scotto Lavina and colorist Valentina Cuomo.
Major SpoilersI was lukewarm about this series when I read the initial issue. Hexware #2 provided interesting concepts that appeal to me as the reader. This issue makes me want to pick up the rest of the series as they come out. However, I believe that this would probably read better as trade. 4 out of 5 stars for Hexware #2.
