Theres a strong cliffhanger this issue that definitely sets the stage for an exciting third issue. Williams probably didnt need it since this cast and their adventures are compelling even without twist endings.

Golden Rage is great entertainment, with grand world-building, interesting characters, and an overall feeling of dread that will keep you riveted throughout. Golden Rage #2 heightens the tension as we get more insight into the geography and splinter groups dotting the island. Highly recommended.

    Graphic Policy

Golden Rage #2 is another fantastic issue that has its roots in similar stories before but takes the concept in a whole different direction with its details. It’s one that I had high hopes for when I heard the concept and in two issues, it’s exceeded expectations.

I continue to really enjoy Golden Rage purely because of how absurd the concept at the center of this series is. Issue #2 is a bit cumbersome at times with its storytelling, largely because of how some scenes are written with multiple different character thoughts and conversations happening at once. Despite this, the final result sheds more light on the protagonists at the center of Golden Rage, which should make the series that much more compelling moving forward.
