Typically a Deadpool & Wolverine comic book would be loaded with violence, banter, internal monologues and fourth-wall breaks. This is so much more.

    Comic Book Revolution

Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII #2 is ultra-violent fun. This is the type of comic book that as soon as you open it you turn off your brain and just enjoy what is going on each page. Through it all Joe Kelly and Adam Kubert fully tap into the magical chemistry that Deadpool and Wolverine have with one another. Whether it’s through them fighting each other or bantering back-and-forth they have shown a chemistry that shows how this pair balances out each other. Because of that fun, and sometimes strong emotional moments, it makes the antagonist they are up against put over as credible threats. It all comes together to help feed in the hype that continues to build the closer we get to the Deadpool & Wolverine movie.

    Nerd Initiative

These characters are so lovable, not just because of how badass they are. It’s also because of what they think they aren’t. They’re so much more than a Merc with a Mouth, and a berserker rage filled animal. This comic gave us a softer side of these two, but never lost who they actually are. I’m very excited to see where this story goes on many different levels, as there is a lot more going on as well. Whether you’re a longtime comic reader, or just pumped for July 26th, definitely add this one to your pull list.
