It’s always disappointing to say goodbye to a wonderful series, but if Batman: Urban Legends had to end, this is one lovely note to go out on. Batman: Urban Legends #23 brings the anthology series and three of its multi-part stories to a thrilling close, and to top it off the one self-contained story knocks it out of the park too.
It’s sad to say goodbye, but Batman: Urban Legends saved one of its best for last, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

    Dark Knight News

Batman: Urban Legends #23 provides the perfect ending for this series. I highly recommend that if you didn’t read this story from the beginning, that you buy the collected editions. Some of these stories will stay with us Bat Fans forever.

Overall, while I don’t think these last few issues quite hit on all cylinders, this series as a whole has been a great way of broadening the number of Bat-stories we get to see and letting some less-known creators have their shot.

    Comic Book Revolution

While I wish there was more of a variety of Batman Family members with stories in this final issue Batman: Urban Legends #23 has a great collection of stories. The creative teams all delivered with stories that show why the Batman Family is great. Hopefully we see more anthology series from DC Comics in the future as Batman: Urban Legends showed how to do that right for all their characters that have incredible legacy’s to explore.

I hope this series showed DC that anthologies can be fun, and I’ve said it before, but I hope that we see many more series like this in the future.

    The Batman Universe

Three out of the final four stories in the book are solid, and one story is incredible. I will remember “Murder Club” for a good while. Although I cannot honestly say I am sorry to see the book end its run, it has been an honor to review it!
