The Story: Birks hits the reader with an emotional gut punch in this issue while also ramping up both the tension and suspense. The story continues to take some creative and inventive twists and turns while also adding great moments of humor and action throughout the issue. I love the rising action within the story and how it culminates into a reveal I wasn’t expecting while also setting up a cliffhanger that has me excited to come back and discover. The Art: Roberts delivers visually on all the action and suspense in the issue. The art is lively and filled with gorgeous details. - 80

Antarctica #5 brings the first arc to a dramatic finish, leaving us on the edge of our seats waiting to see what will happen next. The characters are interesting and complicated which makes the stakes all the more compelling in this tale if interdimensional intrigue.
